FAQs Frequently Asked Questions

What makes prosperAESTHETICS® different from other medspas?

We take a very personalized, relationship-focused approach to aesthetics. Instead of rushing clients through appointments or pushing trendy treatments, we focus on listening, educating, and creating treatment plans that actually fit your goals, lifestyle, and comfort level. Our philosophy is simple: subtle changes done thoughtfully almost always look better than dramatic changes done too quickly. We want you to look refreshed, but still like yourself. You will also notice that our environment feels warm, welcoming, and judgment-free. We want every client to feel relaxed asking questions, sharing concerns, and being honest about what they want. That is a huge part of The Prosper Way experience.

Do I need a consultation before treatment?

In many cases, yes. Consultations are one of the most important parts of the process. Your consultation gives us time to evaluate your anatomy, skin quality, facial balance, medical history, and long-term goals before making any recommendations. It also gives you space to ask questions and explore your options without pressure. Sometimes clients come in thinking they need one treatment, but after a detailed conversation, we realize a different approach would create more natural, balanced results.

Will I still look natural after injectables?

Absolutely. Natural-looking results are one of the biggest priorities at prosperAESTHETICS®. We are very intentional about placement, dosing, and overall facial harmony. Our goal is never to make you look “done” or overfilled. We want you to look rested, refreshed, smoother, lifted, or more balanced in a way that still feels authentic to you. A lot of clients tell us they want people to notice they look great without being able to pinpoint exactly why. That is exactly the kind of result we love creating.

I am new to aesthetics. Where should I start?

Starting aesthetics can feel intimidating at first, but it really does not have to be. You do not need to walk in knowing exactly what you want. That is our job. For many first-time clients, we recommend beginning with subtle, low-commitment treatments that help you ease into aesthetics. Services like The Prosper Facial, The Microneedling, or neurotoxins can create refreshed improvements without feeling dramatic or overwhelming. Your consultation is where everything starts to come together. We will talk through your goals, answer your questions thoroughly, explain what makes sense for your features and comfort level, and build a plan that feels approachable, personalized, and completely pressure-free.

How long do injectable results usually last?

It depends on the treatment, product used, your metabolism, and the area being treated. Most neurotoxins like Botox typically last around three to four months. Dermal fillers can last anywhere from six months to well over a year, depending on the product and placement area. That said, longevity is not the only thing we focus on. We care just as much about how the treatment settles, integrates with your features, and maintains natural balance over time.

Are your treatments safe?

Safety is one of our core values and something we take extremely seriously. All treatments are performed by highly trained medical professionals using medically grounded techniques and professional safety standards. Before treatment, we review your medical history, discuss the risks, and ensure you are a good candidate for the procedure. We also believe conservative treatment plans are safer and often more beautiful in the long run. Instead of overcorrecting in one session, we prefer gradual enhancements that can be adjusted thoughtfully over time. It’s easier to build your results over time than to reverse outcomes.

Is there downtime after treatments?

That depends on the service, but many treatments involve minimal downtime. Some injectables may leave mild, temporary swelling, redness, or bruising. The Microneedling and The BioRePeel treatments can create temporary redness or sensitivity while the skin renews itself. Facials and add-ons often leave clients glowing immediately afterward. During your appointment, we will explain exactly what to expect, how to care for your skin afterward, and when you can safely return to workouts, makeup, or social events.

How do I know which facial is right for me?

You do not have to figure that out on your own. That is what we are here for. Different facials target different concerns. Some are focused on hydration and glow, while others help with congestion, acne, lifting, sculpting, or skin renewal. During consultation, we evaluate your skin condition, sensitivity, lifestyle, and goals to recommend the best option for you. Sometimes the answer is not just one treatment. Combining facials with enhancements such as The Dermaplaning Add-On, The Microcurrent Add-On, or The Targeted Red Light Enhancement Add-On can often yield even better results.

What if I am nervous about looking overdone?

That is probably one of the biggest concerns we hear, especially from first-time clients. The good news is that our entire philosophy is built around subtle, thoughtful enhancements. We are not trying to completely change your face or chase unrealistic beauty trends. We are focused on balance, refinement, and helping you feel like the best version of yourself. We also believe communication matters. We want you to feel comfortable speaking honestly about your comfort level so we can create a plan together.

How often should I come in for treatments?

That really depends on your goals, lifestyle, budget, and the treatments you choose. Some clients come monthly for facials and skin maintenance, while others visit seasonally for injectables or collagen-stimulating treatments. Many clients also prefer gradual treatment plans spaced over time rather than doing everything at once. Consistency often creates the best long-term results, especially when it comes to skin quality, collagen support, and aging.

Do you offer customized treatment plans?

Always. No two faces, skin types, or aesthetic goals are exactly the same, so we never believe in copy-and-paste treatment plans. Your recommendations are based entirely on your unique anatomy, concerns, comfort level, and long-term vision. Sometimes the best plan involves injectables. Sometimes it is focused on skincare, collagen stimulation, or wellness-based treatments instead. Our goal is to help you make informed decisions that feel right for you.

What should I do before my appointment?

We will provide detailed pre-treatment instructions depending on your service, but generally, it helps to arrive hydrated, avoid excessive alcohol before injectables, and pause certain supplements or medications that may increase bruising if medically appropriate. For skin treatments, we recommend temporarily avoiding active ingredients such as retinoids or exfoliants. Most importantly, come in with all your questions. We genuinely want you to feel informed, comfortable, and excited about your experience.

What should I expect during aftercare?

Aftercare is a huge part of getting the best possible results, and we make sure you leave feeling fully prepared. Depending on your treatment, you may experience mild redness, swelling, tenderness, tightness, or temporary sensitivity while your skin heals and settles. We will give you detailed aftercare instructions tailored to your treatment, including which products to avoid, when you can resume workouts or makeup, how to protect your skin, and what is considered normal during healing. We want you to feel supported throughout the entire process, so if questions come up after your appointment, our team is always here to help.
